Our own standard

Open Books.

Most charities say they're transparent. We'd rather show you. "Open Books" is a standard we set for ourselves: twelve financial and governance items we commit to publishing, every year, for anyone to inspect.

Open Books is a WMK9 Foundation commitment — not a third-party certification or award. The scorecard below is scored only on what's actually published.

    Our objective

To be the most transparent veteran service-dog charity in Michigan.

That's a goal we set, not an award we're claiming. Everything on this page is the evidence — you decide whether we've earned it.
